Eco Film Productions is proud to be hosting a round table discussion at the 2nd annual Film Expo South event taking place at the Ageas Bowl in Southampton on Friday 3 February.
Film Expo South is the South’s premier filmmaking event, and now in its second year, continues to draw individuals involved in all aspects of filmmaking.
Running a series of events, networking opportunities, key note speeches, round table discussions and more, Film Expo South is designed to “bring filmmakers of any field together into one place for networking, exposure, passion, collaboration and sheer enjoyment of the craft that we all know and love”.
Rachel Brown, from Eco Film Productions, will be running a round table discussion at 12:00 in the Exhibition Hall where she will be discussion Sustainability in Film & TV. This round table discussion aims to go deeper into what is meant by being truly sustainability and draw awareness to how you, as a filmmaker or someone involved in the film production process can start to implement simple and improved practices that will have you making a difference from the start.
Adopting a more sustainable approach in whatever project you undertake gives you the competitive edge you need which enables you to gain recognition from your peers, your audiences and ultimately your investors. Actively being involved in a green-film approach sets you on on track to comply to future legislation which may be implemented, and which may force filmmakers to reassess their production process.
The session aims to be interactive, providing you with the tips and tools you need to start a new way of thinking, today.
Tickets to the event are sold via Eventbrite and doors open at 09:00. With over 30 workshops, demonstrations and seminars, this event offers an exceptional amount of expertise, all under one room.
Find Rachel on Table D – at 12:00.
